Day In The Life
- Leading and supporting the back-end pharmacy technician team by ensuring proper preparation of medications to be dispensed by the pharmacist team.
- Focusing on order fulfillment including packaging and dispensing of medication, reviewing delivery orders and bins for accuracy, and coordinating stock rotations.
- Leading and assisting Pre-Pack, Picking, Staging, Automated Dispensing, Purchasing, Inventory, Returns/Credits, and Delivery departments toward their primary objectives.
- Providing regular and timely feedback on pharmacy technician performance.
- Partnering with pharmacy leaders on team training plans and collaborating with field training teams as needed.
- Assisting in orientation, training, and education programs for all controlled substances in accordance with policies, procedures, state, and federal laws.

Required Qualifications
- Certified/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
- One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional skills/experience, but not required: Prior experience in the long-term care industry
- Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- PTCB National Certification
