Lead Pharmacy Technician Back End - Full Time

Day In The Life

• Leading and supporting the back-end pharmacy technician team by ensuring proper preparation of medications to be dispensed by the pharmacist team.
• Focusing on order fulfillment including packaging and dispensing of medication, reviewing delivery orders and bins for accuracy, and coordinating stock rotations.
• Leading and assisting Pre-Pack, Picking, Staging, Automated Dispensing, Purchasing, Inventory, Returns/Credits, and Delivery departments toward their primary objectives.
• Providing regular and timely feedback on pharmacy technician performance.
• Partnering with pharmacy leaders on team training plans and collaborating with field training teams as needed.
• Assisting in orientation, training, and education programs for all controlled substances in accordance with policies, procedures, state, and federal laws.

Pay Range

Required Qualifications

• Certified/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional skills/experience, but not required: Prior experience in the long-term care industry
• Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• PTCB National Certification
