Lead, People Development & Talent Experience
Shape Talent. Strengthen Leaders. Elevate The Employee Experience. It’s an exciting time at Electro Rent, and our People & Culture team plays an important role in shaping the employee experience and what comes next.
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Lead, People Development & Talent Experience who is passionate about helping people and organizations perform at their best. This is not your typical HR role. It’s an opportunity for a hands-on HR professional to combine HR partnership, people development, talent management, recruiting, manager coaching, and employee experience — and make a meaningful impact across the employee lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Partner directly with leaders and employees while helping us build the programs, tools, and experiences that enable our people to grow and succeed.
- Coach and support leaders through real-world people challenges.
- Build practical learning and leadership development programs.
- Strengthen career development, succession planning, internal mobility, and talent reviews.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting and create an exceptional candidate experience.
- Elevate onboarding and the critical first 90 days of the employee journey.
- Drive engagement, recognition, and employee listening initiatives.
- Use people data and insights to identify opportunities and improve how we work.
- Help build stronger leaders, stronger teams, and an even stronger employee experience.
Requirements
You may be a great fit if you’re an HR professional who loves both the people and business sides of HR. You bring 5+ years of progressive HR experience with a strong HR generalist foundation, along with hands-on experience in areas such as employee relations, performance management, manager coaching, organizational change, and talent development. You also know how to turn development needs into action — whether that means facilitating a leadership program, creating a development plan, supporting succession planning, recruiting great talent, or helping a manager navigate a challenging employee situation. Most importantly, you’re collaborative, thoughtful, solutions-oriented, comfortable taking ownership, and energized by making things better.
