Lead Patient Service Representative - Bilingual Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of employees.
  • Provide training, inspiration, and guidance to the team.
  • Coordinate work schedules and oversee front office operations.
  • Assist in interviewing potential candidates for front office positions.
  • Relieve staff for vacation and sick-time coverage.
  • Greet incoming patients and visitors.
  • Register patients, obtain insurance and patient information.
  • Collect signatures and ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation.
  • Verify/ update changes in patient/physician/insurance to ensure proper billing.
  • Collect co-pays and fees.
  • Answer phones and schedule patients.
  • Guide patients through the process and answer questions and concerns.
  • Notify appropriate team member of patient arrival and coordinate with back-office staff.
  • Participate in meetings.
  • Aid in the implementation and administration of procedures and best practices.
  • Participate in and/or lead various projects to support center operations and quality patient care.
  • Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Respond to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

Qualifications

  • At least 3+ years of experience as a Patient Service Representative within a radiology center.
  • A high school diploma.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to build and maintain a strong team environment.
  • A dynamic and knowledgeable leadership attribute.
