Position Summary
Essential Functions
- Provides leadership, mentoring, and serves as a resource to the Virtual Safety Observer (VSO) Team.
- Facilitate and coordinate staffing during shift to include all breaks.
- Determine patient assignments based on acuity and skill mix and adjust as needed throughout the shift.
- Receive VSO notifications confirming completion of the audiovisual check for initiation of Continuous Virtual Monitoring (CVM) and notification of CVM discontinuation by the Registered Nurse.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assume VSO responsibilities during periods of need.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- A minimum of six months as a VSO is preferred.
- Technical proficiency of computer software applications is required.
- An extreme attention to detail is necessary.
