Responsibilities
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate all Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) in the program.
- Maintain staff schedules to ensure appropriate shift coverage.
- Become proficient in all PCA tasks to ensure staff are properly trained.
- Participate in on-call duties after hours.
- Facilitate the safety, maintenance, and adherence to rules of the unit.
Requirements
- Associate degree in a related field, preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent, required.
- Supervisory experience required.
- CDCA or equivalent certification, preferred.
