Lead Pastor
About the role
HPCC is seeking a person of integrity who will seek God’s vision for a congregation wishing to grow its family base. The church has a current weekly attendance of approximately 45 at the Sunday morning service. The largest portion of the church body is elderly, and we are looking for a pastor who can shepherd in younger families and youth.
Responsibilities
- Provide Godly, humble leadership
- Publish sermons based on the Bible
- Facilitate discipleship and spiritual growth
- Manage adult and youth ministries
- Encourage and promote open, thorough communication
- Support church members through visitation and crisis intervention
- Hold, or be willing to obtain, a Brethren in Christ pastoral credential
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of scripture, beliefs in the Bible as the authoritative Word of God, and the ability to preach the truth of the Gospel as it relates to our current daily lives. They should be able to relate to people of all ages, backgrounds, and economic status. A proven management skillset is also required.
Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who are humble, energetic, and have a passion for outreach in the local community. They should be able to relate to a wide range of personalities and be willing to take time to develop Godly relationships within the church family and the local community.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The lead pastor will work a standard Monday through Friday schedule, with occasional evenings and weekends required for church events and ministry activities.
