Lead Parking Attendant
Job Details
The Lead Parking Attendant will assist in managing the daily operations of the Parking Department’s Valet Attendants, Gatekeepers and Security Team at JC Santa Monica (“Beach Club”). The position is in the absence of the Assistant Valet Parking Manager.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the daily operations of the parking lot including the Member and Guest check-in desk, address and resolve member/guest entrance issues, parking related issues and inform upper management.
- Oversees the full operation of the parking lot including the Member and Guest check-in desk, address and resolve member/guest entrance issues, parking related issues and inform upper management.
- Manages valet attendants, gatekeepers and security staff by overseeing & assigning responsibilities, handling requests for valet services and training the team on different topics as needed.
- Aids in overseeing overnight security staff and reviewing reports.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of previous supervisory experience in guest service or security related positions preferred.
- Clean driving record.
- Must have excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to cover overnight security shifts as needed.
- Great interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual preferred.
