Lead Organizational Effectiveness Specialist (Hybrid)

We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Lead Organizational Effectiveness Specialist (Hybrid) on our Human Resources team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 3 days a week in the office.
Responsibilities
Change Enablement & Organizational Transformation: Serve as an organizational change management expert supporting enterprise and BU initiatives. Partner with HR and business leaders to enable successful adoption of organizational changes (e.g., performance management transformation, return-to-office transition, organizational restructuring, technology transformation, leadership transition, strategic initiatives, etc.). Apply structured change methodologies (e.g., stakeholder alignment, transition planning, adoption planning, communications support). Identify barriers to adoption and design interventions to reinforce and sustain change. Partner with HR colleagues to interpret organizational health data and co-develop action plans.
Organizational Design & Effectiveness: Partner with HR Business Partners and Compensation to support organizational design efforts, including structure, roles, accountabilities, and decision clarity. Apply an effectiveness lens to ensure organizational design improves how work gets done. Strengthen ways of working, operating rhythms, and team norms to improve organizational effectiveness. Support enterprise initiatives related to organizational health, engagement, and culture. Define and track success metrics for organizational effectiveness interventions.
Team Effectiveness & Consulting: Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to diagnose team and organizational challenges using qualitative and quantitative inputs. Lead team effectiveness engagements to improve alignment, collaboration, and performance. Facilitate team sessions focused on priorities, roles, decision-making, and ways of working. Support leaders in implementing practical, sustainable improvements in team effectiveness. Utilize diagnostic tools (e.g., DiSC, Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team, 360 feedback assessments) to generate team and leadership insights. Translate assessment insights into actionable behavior changes and targeted interventions. Reinforce adoption of new behaviors and operating practices across teams and leadership groups. Identify patterns in team and manager effectiveness and translate insights into recommendations for leadership and organizational improvement. Use qualitative and quantitative data to assess impact and refine interventions over time.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required in Organizational Development (OD), I/O Psychology, Business, Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, or related field; master’s preferred.
Minimum 7 + years of experience in OD, consulting, organizational effectiveness, or related role required.
Experience leading team effectiveness, facilitation, or organizational consulting engagements.
Strong ability to diagnose organizational and team challenges and translate insights into practical, actionable solutions.
Proven experience supporting organizational design, operating models, or ways-of-working improvements.
Proven experience supporting change initiatives and driving adoption within teams or functions.
Strong facilitation skills, including leading team sessions, workshops, and leadership discussions.
Strong consulting, influence, and stakeholder management skills with senior leaders and executives.
Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities independently in a matrixed environment.
Experience partnering across HR and business functions in a matrixed organization.
Experience using assessment tools (e.g., DiSC, Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team, or similar) to support team effectiveness and organizational initiatives.
Ability to translate diagnostic insights into actionable plans and behavior change within teams.
Experience defining and tracking success metrics to measure impact of organizational interventions.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $104,872 - $138,737. This is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to business consideration and geographical location, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
Schedule
This role is a Hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in the office.
