About the role

Snap Inc. is a technology company focused on the camera as a tool to improve human communication. The Snap Communications team conveys Snap’s mission, vision, and values to employees, partners, investors, policymakers, and the broader community. This role partners closely with the VP of Communications and senior leaders to enhance team planning, collaboration, measurement, and execution across a fast-moving global organization. It also drives Snap’s company-wide internal communications program.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and enjoys solving problems while bringing structure to complex environments. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent judgment, and a keen interest in Snap’s business, public narrative, and the evolving media and technology landscape are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Support internal communications programs, including coordination, drafting, editing, question review, executive response planning, and ensuring internal topics are handled with appropriate judgment and context.
  • Manage measurement and reporting across social, owned channels, media, and Communications programs, including learning and managing new tools, systems, and workflows.
  • Explore, evaluate, and deploy AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity, planning, research, drafting, and execution across the Communications team.
  • Oversee operational work, including planning, budgeting, reporting, materials, and executive updates, while incorporating external and internal business context.
  • Identify operational gaps and improve workflows, tools, and processes as the Communications organization evolves.
  • Stay informed on technology, business, media, and communications trends to bring useful context and ideas to the team.
  • Support the VP of Communications’ day-to-day operational needs, including calendar management.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in operations, strategy, program management, executive support, consulting, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders and managing complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes, solve operational problems, and build scalable ways of working.
  • Experience working with business, media, social, measurement, internal communications, or operational reporting workflows.

Schedule

This role follows a “default together” approach, requiring team members to work in an office 4+ days per week.

Pay

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions, and may be negotiable within the salary range.

  • Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): $130,000–$196,000 annually.
  • Zone B: $124,000–$186,000 annually.
  • Zone C: $111,000–$167,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
