About the role
Rare Candy is revolutionizing the trading-card industry with a community marketplace focused on TCGs like Pokémon, MTG, Lorcana, and more. This role involves running the analytical and automation backbone of the operation, including inventory processes, dashboards, and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own the daily and weekly inventory processes, ensuring reliability and reducing manual work.
- Maintain and enhance operational dashboards for decision-making.
- Build and test no-code/low-code workflows and automations to eliminate manual tasks.
- Verify AI outputs and ensure data accuracy.
- Create tools and automations to support growth initiatives.
Requirements
This role requires 3 to 6 years of experience turning operational challenges into reliable systems. Fluency in Excel or Sheets, SQL, and familiarity with automation tools are beneficial. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of trading-card communities and fluency in a related collectible niche.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have a genuine analytical background, the ability to build and verify no-code/low-code solutions, and a track record of identifying and solving complex operational issues. They should also be detail-oriented and detail-focused, with a passion for trading cards and a deep understanding of the collector community.
Skills
Fluency in Excel or Sheets, SQL, and experience with automation tools like Airtable, Zapier, or Make. Experience with AI tools and the ability to verify and trust automated outputs are essential.
