Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare)
  • California Nurse Practitioner (NP) Certificate
  • California Registered Nurse (RN)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 Years
  • DEA Controlled Substance Registration

Essential Functions

  • Collaborates with other disciplines/departments to resolve daily operational issues when supervising unit.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving skills in the area of specialty when consulted by interdisciplinary team members.
  • Assesses the learning needs of patients/families in collaboration with members of the health care team.
  • Plans, provides, and coordinates patient/family education.
  • Improves outcomes due to interventions with others.

  • Contributes to utilization of supplies in a cost-effective manner that supports delivery of care within budgeted supply expense per unit of service.
