Lead Nurse Home Visitor
- .
- Qualifications: Education/Experience Requirements and maybe also Required Competencies? Actually Required Competencies is separate list of competencies for all GenerationEd employees. Could be placed under Skills or maybe under Qualifications? The instruction says use headings for section headings e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we could have a "Qualifications" heading for education/experience/license etc. And a "Skills" heading for Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities plus maybe Required Competencies.
We must not repeat job title as heading. Also we should not include metadata like Job ID, FLSA Status, Reports to, Last Updated etc. Those should be folded into short
or dropped. The instruction: "Do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short
or drop it." So we could include a short
at top with metadata like "Reports to NFP Supervisor | FLSA Status Exempt | Last Updated April 2026". But we could also drop it. Probably better to include a short paragraph. We must preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. Remove boilerplate like EEO etc. At the end there is an EEO statement and Acknowledgement etc. Those are boilerplate; we should remove them. Also remove "GenerationEd is committed to provide equal employment opportunities..." and the Acknowledgement paragraphs. Also remove "I further understand that my employment with GenerationEd is at will." That's boilerplate. We need to keep all substantive info: General Description, Required Competencies list, Essential Duties and Responsibilities (with sub-bullets), Essential Qualifications (Education/Experience Requirements, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities), Physical, Mental and/or Visual Demands (maybe part of Qualifications or Skills? Could be a separate section "Physical Requirements" but not in allowed headings. Could be placed under Skills or Qualifications? Probably under Skills as it's abilities. But we have a separate "Physical, Mental and/or Visual Demands" list. Could be placed under Skills as well. We must not create sections with filler like "commensurate with experience". Not relevant. Thus sections:
About the role
General Description paragraph.
Maybe also a short metadata paragraph before that:Reports to NFP Supervisor | FLSA Status Exempt | Last Updated April 2026
ThenResponsibilities
- with list items for each duty.
We need to parse the duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities includes:

We need to preserve all details. We'll create
- for each top-level bullet, and maybe nested
- for sub-items. The instruction: Use
- for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. It doesn't forbid nesting. We'll do nested lists.
Then
Qualifications
Education/Experience Requirements: ...
Maybe also include "Physical, Mental and/or Visual Demands" under Qualifications? Could be separate but we don't have a heading for that. Could put under Skills. Better: HaveSkills
containing Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities list and Physical, Mental and/or Visual Demands list. Thus:Qualifications
Education/Experience Requirements: Three or more years of service as a Nurse Home Visitor with GenerationEd BS in nursing and one year of Public Health experience preferred; or graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing. At least two years of professional nursing experience. Current license or temporary license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing. Maternal Child Health nursing experience is preferred. Spanish as an additional language is preferred but not required.
ThenSkills
- Current, valid North Carolina driver’s license is required
- Certification in basic CPR
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (maybe we list them) But we need to preserve the list: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (the heading) then items: Current, valid North Carolina driver’s license is required; Certification in basic CPR; Physical, Mental and/or Visual Demands: ... Actually the list includes those items as separate bullet points under "Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:"? Let's re-excerpt: "Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Current, valid North Carolina driver’s license is required Certification in basic CPR Physical, Mental and /or Visual Demands Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time throughout the day. Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. Must be able to bend and stoop. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close, distance, color, peripheral depth and the ability to adjust focus." Thus the "Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities" heading is followed by those bullet points. So we can treat that as a list under Skills. Thus
- Current, valid North Carolina driver’s license is required
- Certification in basic CPR
- Physical, Mental and/or Visual Demands:
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time throughout the day.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Must be able to bend and stoop.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close, distance, color, peripheral depth and the ability to adjust focus.
- with sublist.
Thus under Skills we could have two sublists: Required Competencies and Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (including physical demands). Or we could combine.
We must preserve all substantive info. So include Required Competencies as a list.
Thus:
Skills
- Required Competencies:
- Reliability/Dependability
- Problem Solving
- Customer Service
- Teamwork and Collaboration
- Integrity
- Effective Communication
- Initiative and Growth
- Quality and Timeliness of work
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Current, valid North Carolina driver’s license is required
- Certification in basic CPR
- Physical, Mental and/or Visual Demands:
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time throughout the day.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Must be able to bend and stoop.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close, distance, color, peripheral depth and the ability to adjust focus.

We'll put that in a. Then Responsibilities
Responsibilities
