Lead .NET Integration Developer/ Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. This contract role focuses on leading development efforts for HRIS integration projects and collaborating with both onshore and offshore teams. The position offers a hybrid work environment with 60% onsite work at SV8 and runs until the end of 2027, with potential for extension.

About the role

This position does not involve people management but will assist managers and architects in driving development initiatives as part of a larger custom-development team dedicated to HRIS projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead software development efforts for HRIS integration projects.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore development teams to ensure project success.
• Develop backend integration using C#, .Net Core, Azure Functions, and API development.
• Work with databases such as MSSQL Server and CosmosDB SQL.
• Manage backlogs and write user stories for development teams.
• Assist managers and architects in project planning and execution.

Qualifications

• 7-9 years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in C#, .Net Core, and backend integration.
• Experience with Azure Functions, API development, and databases like MSSQL Server and CosmosDB SQL.
• Strong skills in backlog management and writing user stories.

Nice to have

• Experience with gathering requirements and IT project management.
• Familiarity with HRIS applications, data movement (Event Hubs, MQ), and data storage solutions (Blob, NAS, Azure File Shares).
• Knowledge of resiliency, disaster recovery, auto scalability, multi-region setups, and replication.
• Experience with CI/CD build and release pipelines using tools like ADO and GitHub.
• Experience working with cross-functional offshore teams.

Pay

$55 - $60 per hour. The specific compensation will be determined by factors including scope, complexity, location, skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate.
