Oversee a team of licensed nail professionals while delivering high-quality services to Woodhouse Spa guests. Act as the liaison between department staff and location leadership, fostering a positive, professional, and productive work environment that maximizes employee retention. Collaborate with the management team to meet or exceed monthly KPI metrics.
Responsibilities
- Hold team accountable to Woodhouse Spa policies and procedures.
- Train, mentor, coach, and provide regular performance feedback to team members to ensure guest retention and location growth.
- Maintain accurate product levels of backbar items and provide monthly product order information for the department.
- Conform to Woodhouse Spa standards outlined in the Operations Manual and strive to exceed guest expectations.
- Obtain required education and licensure for position-specific services within the state of employment.
- Serve as departmental subject matter expert on Woodhouse Spa protocols, processes, and retail products.
- Train new spa professionals and provide continued training and development for department staff.
- Maintain accurate inventory of department backbar products and ensure treatment room restocking procedures are followed.
- Compile supplies and product order lists for vendor orders to prevent stockouts.
- Uphold the highest operational standards while working alongside and observing the team.
- Communicate concerns or issues regarding service quality and department operations to management.
- Partner with spa management for coordination of events, promotions, staff training, and continued education opportunities.
- Foster a work environment that minimizes turnover and maximizes retention.
- Prepare guests for services according to treatment protocols and review intake forms for relevant information.
- Educate guests about service benefits, offer enhancers, and explain product usage during and after services.
- Retail home care products and communicate promotions to guests.
- Refer guests to other Woodhouse Spa services offered.
- Document guest information via SOAP Notes and maintain organized treatment rooms and preparation areas.
- Escort guests to dressing rooms and service areas as needed.
- Follow all Woodhouse Spa policies, protocols, and ensure proper lighting, music, cleanliness, and aromatherapy.
- Support team and location needs, maintain spa tools and equipment, and ensure safety, sterilization, and sanitation procedures are completed.
- Communicate with staff and management to ensure smooth operations and adherence to the schedule.
- Renew licensure as required by the state prior to expiration and obtain continuous education per state or Woodhouse Spa requirements.
- Protect the Woodhouse Spa brand and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Licensed Nail Technician with expertise in spa protocols, procedures, and retail products.
- Skilled in training, coaching, and staff development, including onboarding and ongoing professional growth.
- Strong operational ability in inventory management, treatment room preparation, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
- Proven aptitude in guest education, retail sales, and enhancing client experience.
- Effective communicator and team collaborator, supporting management and maintaining brand standards.

Pay
$20–$22 per hour (non-exempt position eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable laws).
Schedule
5–10 hours per week, with availability required for days, evenings, and/or weekends to accommodate business needs.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Requires standing for long hours and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
