About the role
Lead all on-site construction activities for a $12M, 20-unit ground-up affordable housing development in Malden, MA. This is a fully in-office/field-based position.
- Provide day-to-day field leadership, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain project schedules while proactively identifying and resolving field challenges.
- Utilize Procore to manage project documentation, communication, and field reporting.
- Collaborate closely with project management and executive leadership teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Report directly to the Vice President of Construction and serve as a lead field representative for the company.
- Potentially support future ground-up commercial projects as business needs evolve.
Requirements
- Experience as a Superintendent leading ground-up construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction operations, scheduling, safety, and site management.
- Proficiency with Procore.
- Ability to effectively manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades on-site.
- Must be located within the Greater Boston area.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of construction experience.
- Ground-up multifamily construction experience.
- Experience overseeing affordable housing or residential developments.
- Leadership experience managing large-scale projects and field teams.
