About the Role

Responsible for operating and supervising radiologic and imaging equipment including X-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and mammography. Acts as an expert clinician, mentoring staff and ensuring quality assurance and equipment maintenance. Oversees departmental operations to meet goals and creates an environment conducive to high performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily departmental schedules, staffing, and supplies; prioritize procedures to reduce patient wait times.
  • Produce high-quality images following protocols using various imaging modalities.
  • Maintain accurate records, ensure data integrity, and comply with HIPAA and confidentiality regulations.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop imaging staff, monitor performance, and coordinate training.
  • Coordinate equipment repair services and perform additional related duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor's or Master's preferred.
  • Minimum five years of technical experience and one year of leadership experience.
  • Valid state radiologic tech license and ARRT certification; current certification in at least one advanced modality (e.g., CT, MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography).
  • CPR/BLS certification required.
