Lead MRI Technologist

About the Role

The Lead MR Technologist performs advanced MRI procedures using 1.5T and 3.0T systems, providing leadership and supervision to ensure efficient patient care and imaging operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI-safe devices and assist with interventional procedures
• Administer contrast materials under radiologist supervision
• Maintain detailed patient and imaging records in compliance with regulations
• Coordinate patient flow and supervise staff performance
• Enforce safety protocols and manage equipment and supplies
• Provide patient education, monitor safety and comfort, and uphold confidentiality and infection control standards across imaging locations

Requirements

• AR RT and CRT licenses, or AR RT and AR MRIT (MR) certifications
• Minimum of 5 years MRI experience, with 3+ years in senior MRI roles preferred
• AA or BS Degree, BCLS certification, and venipuncture certification
• Graduate from a Radiologic Technologist Program
• Ability to train staff and resolve issues effectively
