About the Role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Patient MRI Imaging
- Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination, using two patient identifiers to ensure the correct patient and procedure
- Explains and prepares patients for MRI procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scanned
- Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeated scanned, while providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure
- Adjusts MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed
- Follows physicians' orders precisely, conforms to safety regulations, and accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
- Maintains a positive attitude and positive working relationships with radiologists, and referring customers and other team members and peers
- Maintains an orderly and clean work area including sanitized equipment promoting good safety habits for patients and team members
- Maintains equipment in good working order; cleans and disinfects equipment after each use
- Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements
- Ensures compliance with all HIPAA guidelines
Team Member Supervision

- Supports team members to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction
- Completes other tasks as assigned
- Leads special projects and/or committees, as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
- ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing, depending on State regulations and business need
- Five (5) years' MRI imaging experience
- One (1) year experience mentoring and servicing as a resource, including identifying process improvement opportunities
- Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently
- Certified in multiple modalities
- Experience working across multiple modalities
- Bilingual
