Lead Mitigation Technician
Overview
Southeast Restoration Group (SRG), a faith-based company, is seeking a Lead Mitigation Technician. This role plays a crucial part in SRG's mission to Restore Lives and Repair Property, focusing on water, fire, and mold mitigation services.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the response to water, fire, and mold-related emergencies at both residential and commercial properties.
Execute scopes of work in alignment with IICRC standards using specialty tools and techniques.
Oversee and guide technicians during mitigation jobs, ensuring safety protocols, task delegation, and job completeness are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage and document job progress using job management and documentation software, including logging notes, uploading job photos, labeling work orders, and invoicing for job-related purchases.
Ensure all internal and external documentation is timely, complete, and accurate.
Serve as the on-site point of contact for customers, setting clear expectations, explaining the mitigation process, and providing assurance during times of crisis.
Recognize when coverage confirmation is needed before executing scopes of work and collaborate with internal resources or project managers to ensure compliance.
Be willing and able to participate in an after-hours on-call rotation for emergency services (Water, Fire, Board Up, etc.).
Qualifications
1+ years of hands-on experience in restoration, construction, or similar field
IICRC WRT Certification preferred
High school diploma or GED required
Strong working knowledge of mitigation processes and equipment
Ability to lift, push, and pull 75+ lbs and perform physically demanding labor
Comfortable working in potentially hazardous environments (e.g., sewage, roofs)
Proficiency with mobile documentation
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a DOT physical
