Lead Medication Assistant, Certified, Long Term Care - PRN/Days
Job Summary
The Lead Medication Assistant organizes and assigns resident assistants to ensure residents' plans of care are carried out and documented as directed. They deliver appropriate age-related care, communicate with resident assistants, and assist with various resident care needs.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required
- Minimum age of 18 preferred
- Six months experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
- Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits
- Maintains all department specific required certifications
- May need a valid driver's license and auto insurance depending on location

Requirements
Must have the state required certified/trained medication aide certification (CMA or TMA), active certified nursing assistant registration in state of practice, or ability to obtain within 120 days, is required.
Pay
$22.00 - $33.00
