Role Overview The Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Lead CLS) independently manages daily lab operations, utilizing professional knowledge and judgment to perform technical, clerical, physical, and quality assurance functions. The role includes overseeing division activities, supporting leadership, and handling special projects. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate laboratory activities to ensure accuracy and efficiency.Support division leadership and manage daily workflows.Perform and oversee various technical laboratory tasks and quality assurance functions.Accept responsibility for special projects and process improvements. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's Degree in Science required.California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License or equivalent license upon hire.At least 1 year of experience as a CLS.Preferred: ASCP certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
