Opportunities available in the heart of Dallas – we are seeking a Medical Assistant with a passion for service excellence to join our Family Medicine team in the Dallas area. The Medical Assistant (MA) supports family medicine providers in delivering high-quality patient care by performing both clinical and administrative duties in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Location: South Dallas.

Responsibilities

  • Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
  • Prepare patients for examination and assist providers during procedures
  • Perform basic clinical tasks including injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing as permitted by state regulations
  • Administer medications and vaccines under provider direction
  • Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  • Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
  • Clean and stock exam rooms and maintain clinical supplies
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies and procedures

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical Assistant Certification
  • Previous experience in family medicine, primary care, or outpatient clinic settings preferred
  • BLS/CPR Certification up to date
  • eClinicalWorks (EMR) experience preferred

  • Excellent patient engagement and communication skills
  • Knowledge of computers and data entry with a high level of accuracy
  • Bilingual in Spanish, Burmese, Pashto, Rohingya is a plus
