Lead Mechanical Engineer - Power (Multiple Locations)
Responsibilities
- As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for front-end planning/preliminary design/code analysis;
- final design including bidding document and specification preparation;
- construction administration including review of compliance submittals and resolution of construction issues;
- and interfacing with Burns & McDonnell project managers, equipment suppliers, clients, other engineering disciplines, detailers, and designers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program. May also have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- The completion of a master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of experience.
- 7 years related mechanical experience required; EPC project experience preferred
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred
- Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
