Lead Mechanical Engineer - Power (Multiple Locations)

Responsibilities

• As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for front-end planning/preliminary design/code analysis;
• final design including bidding document and specification preparation;
• construction administration including review of compliance submittals and resolution of construction issues;
• and interfacing with Burns & McDonnell project managers, equipment suppliers, clients, other engineering disciplines, detailers, and designers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree from an ABET accredited program. May also have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or related Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
• The completion of a master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of experience.
• 7 years related mechanical experience required; EPC project experience preferred
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred
• Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in the use of Arrow, Fathom, SmartPlant P&ID

The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
