Essential Responsibilities
- Manage master planning, material processes and systems.
- Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs.
- Develop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organization.
- Tracks and expedites orders to ensure delivery schedules are met and part shortages are resolved.
- Utilizes the Material Resource Planning system to respond to the dictates/recommendations in a timely/accurate responsive manner.
- Supports supplier payment by resolving discrepancies between purchase orders and supplier invoices.
- Facilitates shipment from offshore with approved freight forwarders. Tracks incoming offshore material and addresses customs and delivery delays.
- Evaluates validity of demand using critical thinking as well as investigates and resolves irregularities.
- Optimize inventory and process improvements.
- Works together with business leadership at SPB and EB level.
- Specify needs, communicate about project approach and present outcomes of research done.
- Works on cross-functional teams. Alternatively: Leads analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field from an accredited university or college or a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing and/or supply chain experience.
- Desired Characteristics: Strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to influence others and lead small teams, ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously, effective problem identification and solution skills, proven analytical and organizational ability, very strong experience with Microsoft Excel, experience with SAP.
