Lead Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of work being done by other maintenance mechanics
• Utilize SAP (or a related MRP system) to manage jobs, order parts, and develop work plans
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of industrial machinery
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement improvements and resolve issues

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in industrial maintenance and repair
• Strong knowledge of industrial operations, including hydraulic presses, forging, machining, and pneumatic systems
• Experience with advanced troubleshooting techniques and repair of industrial machinery
• Experience with welding, fabricating, rigging, and making heavy lifts
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in industrial maintenance

Skills

• Associate’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• Certified Welder
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to mechanical systems
