Lead Maintenance Technician
About the role
American Communities is seeking a hands-on Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee property maintenance operations and provide guidance, support, and expertise to our maintenance team. In this role, you will lead daily service operations, prioritize and delegate work orders, perform and oversee repairs, and ensure the property is maintained to the highest standards.
Your technical expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance will play a key role in enhancing curb appeal, supporting resident satisfaction, and protecting the long-term value of our assets.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily service operations and prioritize/delegate work orders
- Perform and oversee repairs to maintain high property standards
- Manage preventative maintenance programs
- Oversee vendor relationships and inventory
- Manage operational budgets
Requirements
- Proven maintenance experience
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Leadership skills to guide and support a maintenance team
