About the role
The Lead Maintenance Technician oversees facility maintenance and repairs to ensure the property is operating efficiently and appealing.
Responsibilities
- Address work orders and repair issues before they escalate
- Utilize technical certifications for HVAC, CPO for pools/spas, and other specialized training as needed
- Proactively maintain and clean resident amenities like pools and clubhouses
- Set a positive tone for work quality and safety
- Engage in difficult conversations with employees and residents
- Manage the Make-Ready board and ensure turnover work stays on schedule
- Ensure property grounds are maintained
- Handle emergency maintenance calls during on-call hours
Requirements
- Five-plus years of experience in property maintenance, preferably in a residential or hospitality setting
- One or more technical certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical
- Valid driver's license
