Maintain the overall maintenance and appearance of the apartment complex for current and prospective residents.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Being on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies
- Completing grounds work such as: trash pick-up and light landscaping
- Aiding with various types of maintenance: HVAC, make readies, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative
Criteria:
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least three years of experience and HVAC certification
- Provide/use of own tools
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and maintenance staff
- Possess basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
- “Jack of all trades” who can handle normal maintenance as well as other items such as fence picket repairs
- Organized and self-driven
- Able to identify parts needed, order them, and install/repair for work orders and make readies
