Lead Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, assign, review and participate in the work of personnel in Facility Operations.
• Provide direction and guidance to personnel in the correct procedures to repair equipment and materials used to complete required maintenance.
• Schedule and plan work orders and preventive maintenance to complete job assignments within target deadlines.
• Identify resource needs and allocate accordingly.
• Train personnel in preventative maintenance, technical procedures and safety inspection of all repairs.
• Cookordinate and communicate the repair and maintenance activities with other site operations to reduce or prevent downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems and equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• Minimum of five years experience in the repair and maintenance of plumbing, electrical, and/or HVAC systems and equipment in a commercial or industrial setting
• Knowledge of a variety of building maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Skill in using hand and power tools.

About the Role

The candidate will need to have a strong understanding of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, painting, and housekeeping of mechanical areas. Willingness to work at various heights and climb ladders and operate various lifts is essential.
