POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Lead is responsible for managing the maintenance and repair of production equipment to ensure reliability and minimize downtime. This role supervises maintenance mechanics, coordinates daily tasks and preventive maintenance, and addresses urgent repairs. The position works closely with production and quality teams to support equipment improvements, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis, requiring strong technical skills and hands-on leadership.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Team Leadership - Direct, manage and train maintenance mechanics, ensuring efficient execution of tasks and repairs.
Equipment Troubleshooting - Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system faults to minimize production disruptions.
Preventive Maintenance - Oversee and implement preventive maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance and longevity.
Cross-functional Collaboration - Partner with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement and equipment upgrades.
Safety and Compliance - Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards to maintain a safe work environment.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
This position also performs other projects for the company as needed.

While performing the duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, hear and sit. This job also requires close vision at 20 inches or less. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Licenses, certificates a plus.
Skills/Knowledge:
Leadership qualities
Knowledge of all aspects of maintenance (electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.)
Organization and planning skills
Good verbal communication skills
Ability to perform multiple tasks while meeting deadlines

Work is performed in a machine shop and manufacturing plant setting.
Must be flexible and available to work additional hours when necessary.
