Responsibilities
- Machinery Operation: Configure, program, and safely operate custom ACL (Automatic Cut Line) machines utilizing computerized CNC control consoles to meet precise production metrics
- Crew Leadership: Act as the operational point of contact and lead for your crew—assigning workflow, monitoring team performance, maintaining morale, and driving overall throughput
- Quality Control: Conduct continuous inspections of processed materials to guarantee total compliance with our rigorous structural quality guidelines
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Utilize strong mechanical aptitude to handle machine setups, identify operating variances, and troubleshoot minor mechanical adjustments or issues
- Safety Advocacy: Foster a safety-first workplace culture. Enforce proper PPE compliance, ensure safe material handling, general housekeeping and maintain a clean, organized workstation
Qualifications
- Technical Experience: Proven experience running CNC machinery and navigating computerized consoles is strictly required
- Mechanical Inclination: Strong, demonstrable mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex, automated industrial equipment
- Leadership Capabilities: Natural ability to lead, direct, and motivate a small crew in a fast-paced environment
- Equipment Proficiency: Prior forklift experience is highly preferred
- Work Ethic: Reliable, highly safety-minded, quality-focused, and comfortable with a rigorous industrial workload ("not afraid to get dirty")
