Lead Line Cook Supervisor

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth workflow
  • Lead, train, and mentor line cooks and kitchen staff
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared safely and complies with health and sanitation regulations
  • Manage inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed
  • Collaborate with kitchen management to plan menus and specials
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas
  • Assist in scheduling and performance evaluations of kitchen staff

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a line cook or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
