Lead Lifeguard

About the role

The Lead Lifeguard position at Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton is responsible for managing the aquatics programming in a members-only environment. Key responsibilities include providing emergency rescue, enforcing pool rules, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Provide lifesaving emergency rescue in case of accident or medical emergency.
• Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety of all members and guests by enforcing pool rules and regulations.
• Maintain inventory of clean towels and coordinate laundry department.
• All chairs and tables are to be cleaned daily, particularly in the most frequently used areas.

Requirements

• Active lifeguard certification through the American Red Cross
• Availability to work weekends & holidays
• Prefer certification in CPR & AED
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• 1-2 years prior experience as a Lead Lifeguard, required
• Previous supervisory experience, required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of pool rules and safety guidelines
