Lead Licensed Practical Nurse - ACU | Family Medicine - Jonesville | Day Shift | Full-time

Responsibilities

• Provide floor nursing support, room patients, and assist with triage.
• Coordinate the workload of the nursing staff.
• Administer medications, process patient phone calls, instruct patients regarding health care and treatments, and provide information about patients' health status.
• Measure and record vital signs, place patients in exam rooms, prepare patients for exams/procedures, assist the health care provider with exams/procedures, and provide patient support during exams.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and stock exam rooms.

Requirements

• Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Licensed LPN eligible to practice in the State of Florida. One year of ambulatory care or hospital experience preferred.
• Initiative and multitasking abilities.
• Outstanding patient/customer service skills, verbal clarity, team focus, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous staff coordination experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Licensed LPN eligible to practice in the State of Florida. Florida is part of the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) Act. AHA or Red Cross Basic Life Support (CPR) is required or must be obtained within first 90 days of employment. Must maintain current Basic Life Support (CPR).
• Must successfully complete medication test within 30 days of hire.
