Lead Legal Counsel
The Role
The Lead Legal Counsel at Moove AV will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth by focusing on real estate, land use, and facility operations. This position requires a blend of legal expertise and strategic thinking to support the company's mission of making autonomous transportation a reality.
Responsibilities
Negotiate leases and charging agreements to establish the physical infrastructure of the business.
Drive the legal strategy for facility operations, including negotiation of construction and development matters.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure legal strategies align with business realities.
Manage relationships with outside counsel to secure world-class legal services while controlling costs.
Requirements
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
Significant experience in commercial real estate law, including commercial leasing, land use, and construction matters.
Strong background in corporate and commercial law.
Precise negotiation skills with an ability to bridge gaps between parties.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Qualifications
Tech-curious, with experience in the automotive or AV space preferred.
International (non-US) experience a plus.
