Lead Legal Counsel
The Role
The Lead Legal Counsel will play a pivotal role in shaping Moove AV’s infrastructure and operational strategies. Reporting directly to the Head of Legal, AV, this position requires a blend of legal expertise and strategic thinking.
Responsibilities
Negotiate leases and charging agreements to establish the physical infrastructure of the business.
Drive the legal strategy for facility operations, including construction and development matters.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure legal strategy aligns with business objectives.
Manage relationships with outside counsel to secure world-class legal services while controlling costs.
Requirements
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. State Bar.
6-8 years of experience in commercial real estate law, including commercial leasing, land use, and construction matters, as well as corporate and commercial law.
Adept at detailed negotiation with a collaborative approach.
Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Experience in the automotive or autonomous vehicle (AV) industry is a bonus.
