Lead, Last Mile Operations

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site leadership to support all home delivery services and handle day-to-day operations
• Lead a team of 15–20 warehouse material handlers to receive, pick, and process orders daily
• Leverage operational metrics to identify and implement improvements
• Train material handlers to meet performance goals for safety, quality, and productivity
• Foster positive relationships with warehouse team, contract carriers, and driver helpers
• Manage the dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day
• Partner with the Operations Manager to identify and address operational inefficiencies
• Train and develop contract carriers, dispatchers, and warehouse personnel to meet and exceed customer expectations

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
• 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience

Qualifications

• Highly detail-oriented
• Experience with cycle counting warehouse inventory
• Able to lead the warehouse team and strengthen current processes

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong math skills and solid analytical ability
• Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills

$22.50 per hour
