About the Role
The Kids Lead role exists to build and lead a strong Real Team who creates a safe, fun, and welcoming environment where kids learn to be real with themselves, God, and others. This role focuses on leading people, casting vision, shaping culture, and building a healthy volunteer team of adults and students who create environments where kids and parents grow closer to Jesus. The role emphasizes discipling kids, developing leaders, and partnering with parents.
Responsibilities
- Cast compelling vision for Sandals Kids that reflects the church’s mission and values.
- Shape and protect a culture of authenticity, discipleship, passion, and fun.
- Lead with clarity and consistency so kids and leaders know where the ministry is going.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new volunteers.
- Build team leads and give away real leadership.
- Create a culture where volunteers feel valued, supported, and discipled.
- Ensure check-in is warm, fast, and easy.
- Oversee safe and loving environments for babies through preschoolers.
- Lead volunteers to run an engaging, high-energy elementary service.
- Keep all spaces organized, prepared, and clean.
- Model what it looks like to lead an engaging large group experience, including games, Bible stories, worship, and response times for kids.
- Collaborate with central staff to execute curriculum with excellence.
- Equip volunteers to teach confidently and connect with families.
- Resource, equip, and come alongside parents to be the primary spiritual nurturers of their child’s faith.
- Equip volunteers to engage and encourage parent partnership.
- Strengthen the relationship between families and Sandals Church.
- Support campus-wide events, engagement, and discipleship.
- Serve as a unified part of the campus staff team.
- Support campus events and midweek needs by mobilizing volunteers.

Pay
Pay Range: $20–$22 per hour. Rate determined by experience and our internal compensation structure.
