About the role

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is looking for Journeyman Plumbers to help us grow our Winchester, VA location. As our Journeyman Service Plumber, you will help us grow our company by servicing customers with their plumbing needs, including installation and repairs of plumbing repairs, water quality and filtration issues, fixture sales and installation, and overall residential plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, diagnose, and repair various plumbing systems
• Install various plumbing systems
• Utilize Straight Forward Pricing (including all company-approved forms) correctly on each call
• Test each aspect of the job before leaving a home to ensure everything is working properly
• Ensure the job was completed correctly and eliminate unnecessary callbacks
• Explain each service performed to the client to ensure 100% satisfaction with all work
• Wear floor savers while in the client’s home and maintain a neat work area
• Convey a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside of vehicles at all times
• Complete and turn in proper paperwork
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Operate job site in a clean, safe, and efficient manner

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• 3-5+ years of plumbing and mechanical experience (verifiable)
• Good communication skills
• Experience with various plumbing systems, including high-efficiency water heaters, sanitary sewer systems, drain cleaning, and water treatment
• Good problem-solving skills
• Willing and eager to learn with a good work ethic
• Flexible schedule
• Driver's license/good driving record
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude
• Ability to pass background check and drug test

Qualifications

• Licensed in VA as a Journeyman Plumber

• Experience working within a Franchise system
• Experience using Service Titan
• Sales and Customer Service
• Certificates and training for various brands and equipment

$65,000.00+ per year depending on experience
