Lead Java Full Stack Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with 15+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, PostgreSQL, Kafka/MSK, and EKS, along with exposure to UI technologies or frontend integration. Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite). Job Type: Contract.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS.
• Build and enhance microservices-based architectures and REST APIs.
• Develop and integrate event-driven solutions using Kafka/MSK.
• Work with PostgreSQL databases for data modelling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Deploy and manage applications in AWS EKS/Kubernetes environments.

Requirements

• Strong experience in Java and enterprise application development.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Spring Boot / Microservices Architecture.
• Strong expertise in AWS Cloud Services and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with PostgreSQL SQL and database design/optimization.
• Hands-on experience in Kafka / AWS MSK for event-driven architecture and messaging systems.
• Strong understanding and experience with EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) / container orchestration.
• Experience in API development, integration, and microservices-based systems.
• Experience in ReactJS or other UI technologies; if no hands-on UI development, strong UI integration experience and ability to collaborate with frontend teams.
