Job Description

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science
Preferred Education: Master’s degree preferred

Required Experience

  • Agile experience with application servers and web application servers
  • Full-stack developer with 8-10+ years of experience in designing and developing robust, scalable, and maintainable applications applying Object Oriented Design principles
  • Java Core with extensive hands-on experience with concurrent programming
  • Hands-on experience in Web technologies (HTML, CSS), REST APIs, and Backend using Java/J2EE technologies
  • Experience with Agile software development processes with a strong emphasis on test-driven development

Desired Experience

  • Experience with React JS
  • Experience in the financial or banking sector
  • Automated testing experience
  • Experience with AI Dev tools such as Copilot

Required Technical Skills And Abilities

  • Knowledge of Python, PySpark, and working in a Big Data environment is a plus
  • Knowledge of hardware and operating systems (Unix-based systems)
  • Understanding of event-based architecture, JMS
  • Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle)
  • Familiarity with Spring Framework including Core, Integration, Batch, JDBC, Hibernate
  • Databases - RDBMS preferably Oracle, NoSQL preferably MongoDB
  • Familiarity with Linux environment including scripting skills
  • SDLC/Dev Ops - GitHub, CI/CD pipeline frameworks such as Jenkins, SonarQube, JIRA, any secure coding toolkits
  • In-depth knowledge in building enterprise web applications
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Core Java, Java EE, Spring Boot
  • Excellent knowledge of Spring Microservices architecture and design patterns
  • In-depth knowledge of Multithreading, Concurrency, JPA, Hibernate
  • Extensively used Eclipse or IntelliJ

Position Summary

This is a Lead development position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. The overall objective of this role is to build robust, high-performance, large-scale applications.

Responsibilities

  • Agentic System Design: Lead the architectural design and implementation of multi-agent systems and autonomous AI solutions, ensuring scalability, robustness, and performance.
  • AI Agent Development: Develop, train, and fine-tune individual AI agents for tasks such as natural language understanding, decision-making, and task execution.
  • Orchestration & Integration: Design and implement frameworks for agent orchestration, communication, and collaboration within a larger ecosystem.
  • Integrate agentic AI solutions with existing enterprise platforms and data sources.
  • Research & Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in agentic AI, multi-agent systems, and related fields. Conduct research and rapid prototyping of new AI technologies and methodologies.
  • Manage multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for the team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions).
  • Provide strategic influence and exercise control over resources, budget management and planning while monitoring end results.
  • Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards.
  • Integrate in-depth knowledge of applications development with overall technology function to achieve established goals.
  • Provide evaluative judgement based on analysis of facts in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations, including drawing from internal and external sources.
  • Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessary.
  • Operate with minimal level of direct supervision.
