Lead Inventory Clerk

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Support and assist in overseeing the supervision of all Inventory personnel; responsible for the movement and assignment of all inventory in the warehouse.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and assist in the supervision of all inventory staff in order to ensure proper communication to Operations Coordinator
• Assign locations and maintain inventory of all products in the warehouse
• Cover all computer related information concerning product inventory pallets and locations as provided by warehouse staff, buyers and other departments
• Adjust inventory count for improperly received or located inventory
• Perform cyclic count of inventory and products which are “scratched” or not found by other employees to determine if the product can be found or if the inventory needs to be adjusted
• Maintain inventory by pallet in specific locations in the warehouse
• Put up returns/good product into correct pick/replenish location
• Knowledgeable use of RF terminal to track the materials for inventory control
• Reports to work on time, as directed by the Operations Coordinator, and completes all duties in a timely manner
• Process information effectively and communicate the information as needed effectively
• Perform any other duty assigned by Operations Coordinator or upper management team as needed

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Frequent standing
• Occasional walking, sitting, talking or hearing, using hands to finger, handle or feel, reaching with hands or arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling
• Lifting 10 to 25 pounds
• Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Wet humid conditions
• Outdoor weather conditions
• Near moving mechanical parts
• In high, precarious places
• In extreme cold
• Moderate noise level
