About the role

The Lead Intake Admission Clinician manages referrals and service requests, assesses individuals of all ages, and collaborates with physicians for appropriate care decisions. They assist with discharge planning under the Director of Admissions and Referrals and are the primary community contact, providing essential resources and support. Additionally, they support the case management program.

Qualifications

• Education: Registered Nurse or Master’s degree in a human relations field required
• Experience: Preferably two or more years of intake assessment activities in an acute psychiatric setting; minimum two years experience in a psychiatric hospital setting, including customer contact
• Licensure: Licensed to practice in Illinois as a mental health professional preferred
• Additional requirements: Working knowledge of the latest DSM, Mental Status Exam, and Addiction and Recovery field

Pay

Competitive pay range: $29.00–$39.00 per hour, plus shift differentials and a $3,000 sign‑on bonus.

Schedule

Three 12‑hour shifts per week: 7:00 pm – 7:30 am, Monday through Wednesday, with one weekend shift per month.
