Lead Instructor- El Cerrito

About the role

codeCampus is seeking to hire and train a Lead Instructor in the El Cerrito area for the current school year starting September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Work with site staff at our partner schools in the area
• Lead STEAM projects/activities for students in their classrooms using our proprietary curriculum
• Teach students in grades TK-8th
• Create relationships with parents and students that build on trust and respect
• Create a safe environment for the students
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Available to start training immediately (paid) and to start instructing immediately
• Available to work the current school year and beyond
• Available M-F 9:30-3:30 on the following dates:

  • 10/26/26 - 10/30/26
  • 11/2/26 - 11/6/26
  • 1/4/27 - 1/8/27
  • 1/11/27 - 1/15/27
  • 2/1/27 - 2/5/27
  • 2/8/27 - 2/12/27
  • 3/8/27 - 3/12/27
  • 3/15/27 - 3/19/27
  • 4/19/27 - 4/23/27
  • 4/26/27 - 4/30/27
• Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting
• Exceptional communication skills
• Access to reliable transportation
• Willing to go through our professional development training program
