Lead Installation Technician I

About the role

The Lead Installation Technician supports installation projects for new and existing clients throughout the US. This role collaborates with teams to install and upgrade client products and equipment, including infrastructure and cabling for kiosks, tablets, phones, stations, and other devices.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of technicians responsible for installing different types of infrastructure in client environments.
• Oversee training sessions for the team.
• Coordinate infrastructure requests and provide support.
• Conduct random inspections of the team's work during the project.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge and skills required.
• Customer service experience to handle phone calls and emails from both internal and external customers.
• First point of contact for facility personnel in administrative and technical tasks related to installation projects.
• 2+ years’ experience bending conduit, cabling, electrical, and basic construction.
• Pass multiple, in-depth criminal history background checks initially upon hire and throughout employment.
• Able to travel up to 315 days per year.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Networking and/or fiber experience is a plus.
