Lead Installation Technician
About the role
The Security Technician will support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of commercial security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and related low-voltage technologies. This position works alongside project leads and superintendents to ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and according to customer requirements. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI. The position is anticipated to close on Oct 15, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Install and service access control and CCTV systems
- Pull, terminate, label, and test cabling
- Assist with system startup and commissioning
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Follow project drawings and installation standards
- Complete required project documentation
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment

Pay
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
