About the role
The Global Technology team at Prudential takes pride in fostering a culture where digital transformation is integral to our operations. As an Infrastructure Security Engineer on the Identity Governance and Administration team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our identity governance and administration platforms.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owners, tech leads, designers, software engineers, and delivery professionals to implement the product vision and strategy.
- Identify opportunities, diagnose issues, and research solutions to address complex business problems.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders and team members to ensure alignment and progress.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities within a results-driven team environment.
Requirements
- Ability to manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in data analysis to identify gaps, determine attack surfaces, and implement remediation.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a cross-enterprise team.
- 6+ years of experience developing software applications with a primary focus on Java (Spring framework) and some experience on Python.
- Strong background in Java development, including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring MVC, and building scalable enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and application development.
- Experience building cloud-based applications on AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of database architecture and cloud storage solutions.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration (AWS ECS, EKS, Kubernetes).
- Extensive knowledge and experience with SDLC tools such as Git, Jira, Jenkins, etc.
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
- Ability to quickly learn new skills and tackle challenges with self-initiative.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to various audiences.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation and challenging the status quo.
