Responsibilities
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, systems engineering, or systems administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and enterprise identity services.
- Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
- Experience supporting cloud or hybrid-cloud infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of enterprise storage, backup, and disaster recovery technologies.
- Experience with enterprise patch management, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring, alerting, logging, and performance management.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis skills.
- Experience working with ITIL-based incident, problem, change, and configuration-management processes.
- Microsoft/Linux/VMware Certifications Preferred.
- Administer and support enterprise Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, organizational units, security groups, and user/computer policies.
- Support authentication, authorization, access control, and enterprise identity services.
- Troubleshoot Active Directory replication, authentication, Group Policy, and domain-related issues.
- Perform VM provisioning, migration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Support backup and recovery infrastructure and enterprise backup solutions.
- Automate repetitive infrastructure administration and operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar scripting technologies.
- Develop scripts for provisioning, monitoring, patching, reporting, and system maintenance.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
8-15 years of experience. W2 or C2C contract. Location: Plano, Texas.
