Responsibilities
- Supporting test and production environments including Linux/Unix, Windows, and Oracle (OIPA) environments.
- Providing 7x24x365 support across all platforms.
- Serving as the team lead and managing the team backlog.
- Setting direction for the team providing support for all Life Proactive monitoring.
- Working closely with Life Insurance product teams to partner and develop tools in multiple platforms.
- Migrating quoting and purchasing applications to the new Oracle (OIPA) platform.
- Working with the Life underwriting process and supporting the development of tools to manage infrastructure capabilities and increase efficiency.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of Linux/Unix specifically RHEL 8/Ubuntu – Must have 15+ years of Linux/Unix experience.
- Extensive knowledge of DB2 – Must have 15+ years of experience working with DB2.
- Experience with multiple programming languages (Python, Perl, JavaScript, etc).
- Minimum of 15 years working with Life Insurance products including Underwriting, Whole and Term, Annuities, Claims.
- Extensive knowledge of Service Now.
- Proven examples of developing and implementing infrastructure solutions to ensure available and stable delivery platforms, mainframe environments, storage platforms, client hardware, or other infrastructure capabilities.
- Proven examples of proactively developing tools to manage infrastructure capabilities and increase efficiency of infrastructure operations.
