Lead Infant and Toddler Teacher - Montessori Unlimited, Irvine Blvd

About the role

Our Montessori school has been proudly serving our community for many years. With trained, dedicated educators (some with decades of experience), we provide an authentic Montessori experience in an early education setting. With mixed-age classrooms and carefully curated Montessori materials, we embrace the authentic Montessori Method, as we guide young learners toward the future, so they become innovative thinkers, good citizens, and able leaders.

Responsibilities

• Caring! Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child in your classroom.
• Engaged! Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Knowledgeable! Complete extensive training that provides insight on child care, preschool and development topics.
• Creative! Implement our proprietary curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children.

Requirements

• At least 6 months experience leading an early childhood classroom and creating educational lesson plans in a licensed center.
• Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units.
• The ability to meet state requirements for background, immunization, CPR/First Aid, and mandated reporter training requirements.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Pay

Compensation based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options- Lead Teacher- $21.51-$22.35

Schedule

Monday through Friday work week.
